BCEAK is the leading association in redefining Construction Excellence in the Kenyan Built Environment.
We encompass a wide range of specialized fields, often referred to as "faculties" or disciplines. We pride in our zeal to redefining construction excellence by involving all the actors within the built environment for a better Kenya. We are wide in scope and so big to include engineers, architectures, contractors, landscapers, interior designers, masons, painters, building materials suppliers etc. The built environment AKA mjengo industry is getting a renaissance.
BCEAK provides a full range of services satisfying the needs and concerns of its members, thereby improving the quality of construction and protecting the public interest.
There are growing concerns about trust in local contractors in Kenya, particularly within the construction and public procurement sectors. The lack of trust stems from issues like, poor quality of work, corruption, abandonment of projects before completion, exorbitantly high cost & sometimes cost overruns and lack of transparency in project implementation.
The public has lost trust in our own people and this is something disturbing.
By teaming up together through our umbrella body BCEAK, we assure the government, general public, investors and other stakeholders that our spirited effort to redefining the construction excellence remains top priority.

To be the leading voice and professional platform driving excellence, innovation, and sustainability in the building and construction industry.
To promote high standards, continuous professional development, industry compliance, and member advancement in the building and construction sector.
We face numerous challenges including: unsettled payments, intimidations, fluctuating prices, non-recognition in decision making, non-favorable industry policies, substandard building material and labor disputes. We felt the need for a unified voice to advocate for our interests and address these issues.
BCEAK aims to be the most powerful Association to advocate for the construction industry by working with government agencies to ensure favorable industry polies, promote workforce development, and push for regulatory reforms. We must table our interest in the need for local contractors to be recognized and be considered in major projects undertaken by the Governments.Website Visitors
